Here’s the break down of the many fun features at the 2012 fair!


For the Culture Connoisseur:

Thai Monk Blessing

10 a.m.

Monks from the Wat Buddhapradeep Temple in San Bruno will perform a blessing to kick off festivities.

Civic Center Stage

Faces of Asia Cultural Procession

11 a.m.

A dazzling display of ethnic attire organized by Au Co Vietnamese Cultural Center.

Begins at Civic Center Stage, ends at Community Stage on Golden Gate and Larkin Streets.

Asian Arts and World Market

How cute are these ramen booties? Get them at this year’s AHSC.

11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Creative and high end arts and crafts.

Larkin and Golden Gate Streets


11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Quality modern J-cars and high-end European sports cars, like the A.m.use Skyline R35 GT-R, Mach III G35, Full Function 800HP and 650HP Evolutions, hosted by Wekfest.

Food Trucks and Vendors

This year’s Asian Heritage Street Celebration boasts a scrumptious collection of pan Asian delights and sweets, along with the Bay Area’s most popular food trucks.  Food vendors will be located on Golden Gate St. accompanied by a seating area and Food Trucks will be on Turk Street.


Cooking Demos

10:50 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Learn how to cook delicious Asian dishes! Appearing will be celebrity chef Martin Yan, The Slanted Door’s owner and executive chef Charles Phan, co-owner of Nombe Restaurant Mari Takahashi, cookbook author Andrea Nguyen, chef Steve Cortez, and BBC America’s Chef Kayne Raymond.
