Bay Area Metro 92.3FM is the voice of the Bay Area’s Chinese community with programming designed to meet the needs and interests of our ever-expanding audience.  Their team of talented and dynamic hosts covers a range of relevant topics including local news and events, community issues, health and nutrition, finances, career development, feng shui, hit music and more.

Ding Ding TV is the first Chinese-language Internet television station in the Silicon Valley. Ding Ding TV’s mission is to serve as a bridge between USA and China as a leading website providing multimedia entertainment and information to people on all platforms available.

Goldlink Radio offers evening news Ttlk broadcasts weeknights from 9 to 11 p.m. and Saturday 5 to 6 p.m. on AM1400, focusing on community news, political commentary, health, travel and leisure topics. It is widely broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Updated community information is provided daily.

Hyphen Magazine started in 2002 as a magazine focused on Asian America for the culturally and politically savvy. Built around clarity of image, word and social awareness, Hyphen takes form from the artists, thinkers and creators who are shaping a new multi-ethnic generation. Much like the hyphen connects words and concepts, Hyphen Magazine connects readers with Asian America as it happens.

The Korea Times, San Francisco acts as a bridge between Korean Americans and the larger community. Established back in 1970, it is the largest Korean-language newspaper in Northern California, with the largest subscription and circulation base in both local and national markets.

KTSF-TV is California’s largest multi-lingual television station serving the Asian American marketplace. Established in 1976, KTSF provides news, information and entertainment in fourteen languages, including Vietnamese, Tagalog, Japanese, Korean and Hindi. KTSF is the only broadcaster in the United States to air nightly, live Mandarin and Cantonese-language newscasts.

MYX TV debuted in 2007 becoming the only nationally distributed cable network dedicated to the Asian American youth market.  MYX TV is the only Asian American music and entertainment channel on television and the biggest media supporter of Asian Pacific American community groups. They continue to focus all efforts in supporting new music from artists on the rise, underground, online or anywhere else they may be, and cater to an audience that feels ignored by the mainstream media.  Aside from nurturing the new, it is also the home of new music of the most current pop groups, from Far East Movement to Lady Gaga.

Philippine American Press Club, USA represents major Filipino American media in print, online, broadcast TV and radio that are based in the San Francisco Bay area but whose impact reaches far and wide throughout the nation and globally. Now on its 23rd year, PAPC publishers continue to inform, entertain, inspire and make its constituents aware of relevant news important to their lives and the community at large.

Philippine Fiesta is a Filipino American community newspaper published two Fridays a month by Five D’s Arts, LLC. Established in 2002 the paper provides perspectives on issues affecting Filipino Americans and their involvement in the greater community. Based in Sacramento, the publication reaches readers in the surrounding areas of Elk Grove, Rocklin, Stockton, Vallejo, San Francisco and San Jose.

Philippine News
celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and continues to be the only Filipino American newspaper to offer news and information relevant to the needs of the community it serves. The publication serves as a link among Filipino communities across America.

SanFranciscoChinatown.com began in 2002 as a resource for both locals and tourists. It started out as an experiment wanting to learn about the heritage and culture of San Francisco’s Chinatown.  It has become a major player helping San Francisco Chinatown and the San Francisco Bay Area Community via media sponsorship to local events.

Sing Tao Newspaper presents readers with comprehensive local, national and international news of particular interest to the Bay Area Chinese and the most important news from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.  Sing Tao remains the San Francisco Bay Area’s most effective newspaper for the Chinese market.  It is also viewed as the best visual environment for advertisers due to its higher quality in print reproduction.

Song Moi Magazine is a Vietnamese in language weekly published in San Jose.

World Channel programming includes drama series, Chinese news reports, variety shows and locally produced entertainment and financial programs.

 

World Journal was founded in 1976 with the mission to serve all overseas Chinese by helping immigrants bridge the gap to mainstream America, keep in touch with their homeland and local Chinese community news and improve their quality of life.  It distributes to all 50 states and covers major US, Canadian, and international news, along with news from the greater China region, from local and regional news to finance, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, education, health, and consumer news. World Journal also publishes Weekly magazine, Star magazine and Ming magazine.

 

The Western Edition

Established in 1994, The Western Edition is a neighborhood newspaper that has served the community to bring together neighborhood news and events in one place.  The online magazine www.thewesternedition.com is an online version of the Western Edition Newspaper, and HP Journal is a “diary” that is following the transformation of Bayview.
